In this blog post, we will delve into the step-by-step process of connecting BoldSign and OneDrive using Zapier. By following these steps, you can set up an automated system to upload signed documents to OneDrive directly.
To initiate the automated process of uploading signed documents to OneDrive, ensure you have the following prerequisites in place:
A preconfigured Zap template is available on the BoldSign Zapier integration page. To create a Zap that connects the BoldSign and OneDrive apps, simply follow these steps:
Navigate to the Upload newly signed BoldSign documents to OneDrive page and click the Try this template button.
Here the App & event section, the values are prefilled. BoldSign is the trigger app, and Document Completed is the trigger event.
In the Account column, link your BoldSign account and test the trigger in the Test column. Then, the recently signed document will be displayed. Double-check the details and move to the next section.
Action section: The App & event section values are prefilled with OneDrive as the action app and Upload File as the action event. Connect your OneDrive account in the Account column.
In the Account section, select the folder where you want to store the completed documents in OneDrive. Next, map the Signed Document value to the File field and map the desired value for the File Name field.
Test the action in the Test field to ensure the configuration is working correctly. The recently signed document in BoldSign will be automatically uploaded to OneDrive.
Verify all the details and Publish the Zap. The created Zap will be displayed on the Zaps page in Zapier.
The automation of uploading signed documents to OneDrive has been implemented successfully. From now on, every time a BoldSign signature request is completed, the document will be automatically uploaded to OneDrive.
